Newcastle is most definitely the place to be if you’re looking for a great night out to remember! Several areas of this fiery city have their own array of pubs and clubs, with some of the finest only being 15 minutes from our doorstep. Nearby pubs and clubs all make up the exclusive and electric nightlife Newcastle is famous for. To experience the Geordie character at its finest, stop off at one of the city’s older pubs, the Crown Posada, which is only 10 minutes from Metro Inns.

If you’re looking to hang out with friends, play some board games or classic pinball while sipping on a wide range of craft beers, the BrewDog , offers a fresh experience where they “bring the big guns to the beer party!”. The BrewDog is just 15 minutes from our hotel.

With Metro Inns only 10 minutes from the airport, a chilled pint in the relaxed atmosphere of  The Forth Bar will get your night started with some champion food, drinks and music. So if you’re looking for a night out on the “toon”, Newcastle certainly won’t disappoint.

The Tyne Bar, located just 12 minutes from Metro Inns, is one of Newcastle’s best kept secrets. Dating back to 1994, this old school gem has over 30 years of knowledge in the Newcastle pub scene. With a waterside beer garden and exclusive ales, The Tyne Bar is the perfect spot to experience the real Geordie culture.

The Old George Inn

The Old George Inn, only 10 minutes from Metro Inns, is an exemplary landmark full of wonderful history as it stands as Newcastle’s oldest pub. Dating back to 1582, this breathtaking piece of architecture was once the local spot of King Charles 1st. With live sports and unbeatable food and drink deals, this iconic venue is definitely a must visit.
